I'm psyched to be a guest artist at the Tilsner Artist Lofts this spring for the 2015 Saint Paul Art Crawl.
You can find me on the first floor, right near the main entrance.
Also at the Tilsner are a couple artist friends who are newbies to the Crawl: Jen Van Zandt and Angie Andresen. Can't wait for them to have their first Art Crawl experience! They'll both be on the 5th floor. Start at the top (6th Floor - with food vendors) and work your way down!
Dates and times are:
- Friday April 24: 6-10 pm
- Saturday April 25: noon - 8 pm (Tilsner Bldg open until 10 pm)
- Sunday April 26: noon - 5 pm
New to the Art Crawl scene? Here are a few tips:
Park centrally and walk around. The Lowertown area of St. Paul has the most concentrated group of artist buildings for you to browse, so print out this map and park in one of the lots suggested here. Union Depot and the Prince & Broadway lots are good bets and very inexpensive.
Visit me at the Tilsner Building! Then of course, check out the excellent neighboring buildings - Jax, Northern Warehouse, and Lowertown Lofts... all within a couple blocks.
Swing by the new Saints Stadium and take a peek! It's right there and it's cool.
Be sure to go in Union Depot and get a 2-for-1: gorgeous architecture and a lobby full of guest artists.
Most artists - including me - take credit cards. However, it never hurts to bring cash or a checkbook for those who haven't converted to using a Square reader yet.
Finally - keep up with the goings-on of Art Crawl by social channels:
